Holistic Physical Therapy and Wellness
Bladder Leakage
Urinary Incontinence is bladder leakage. Urinary Incontinence is common in the young population, not just old folks. Urinary Incontinence sometimes follows giving birth or having a C-section. Young women who have not had children, can also lose strength and coordination of the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor muscles help to stop bladder leakage.
Holistic Physical Therapy provides education on how to perform therapeutic exercises for the pelvic floor, and ways to decrease bladder leakage through diet and bladder training. The fun way to receive this education is to have a small gathering at your house! Save money with this unique opportunity for group therapy.
Electrical stimulation can be used to strengthen weak pelvic floor muscles. If Electrical Stimulation is needed, Sarah can provide you with education on how to purchase a small “E-stim” unit and treat yourself in the comfort of your own home.
